Used Quayside Port Crane for Sale
►Condition for this Used Quayside Port Crane
Manufactured by ZPMC, these three units were commissioned around October 2003 and are currently in regular operational service. Their overall condition is summarized below:
1. General Condition: The paint coating is in good condition, with minimal structural corrosion. The cranes are functioning normally.
2. Component Replacements: The following components have been replaced:
* Rail clamps and high-speed brakes for the gantry travel and hoisting systems.
* Hoisting gearboxes, operator cabins, rails, and wheels.
* Equipment room air conditioners, festoon power cables, and gantry travel high-voltage cables.
3. Control System Upgrade: The entire ABB electrical control system was upgraded/replaced around 2020.
4. Maintenance History: No other major repairs or replacements have been undertaken. On-site observations confirm the cranes are operating well.
The primary reason for the user's equipment replacement decision is the imminent arrival of new cranes, combined with considerations of terminal berth configuration and unloading height requirements, leading to the plan for scrapping.
Due to the control system upgrade, operational data records for the various mechanisms are unavailable. Based on the operational schedule of Qingdao Port, the estimated total running hours for each crane are approximately 100,000 hours, with an estimated container throughput of approximately 2 million TEUs. Accordingly, both the electrical control systems and the steel structures should be capable of meeting operational demands for a further period.
